Ca-CAW, the Crows are back for a 10th season and [most of] Minneapolis City’s 2026 schedule is out

The boys are almost back in town for the summer and the feeling of excitement amongst The Citizens has jumped after Minneapolis City SC and USL League Two dropped the 2026 league schedule. After a rough first three seasons for Minneapolis City that saw them finish last once and second to last twice, the Crows massively rebounded last season. In 2025 City took home the Heartland Division title, marking their first silverware in the league and since their 2021 NPSL North title. After going 8-2-2 (26 points) in the regular season the Crows ran all the way to the Conference Final, ultimately falling to the Flint City Bucks in Seattle, WA.

This year the Crows will aim to one up their performance last season and show the newcomers of the division they mean business. All seven members of the Heartland Division from 2025 return in addition to a few new clubs. Edgewater Castle and the Rockford Raptors join the league (as well as USLW) for the 2026 campaign, though City will only host Edgewater.

Minneapolis City’s 2026 season kicks off at Edor Nelson Field in Minneapolis on 16 May and twelve days later the Crows face St. Croix on the road for the first match of the Twin Cities Derby series. Three days after that on 30 May Rochester FC travels to the Twin Cities for a Minnesota Derby showdown. On 20 June Edgewater Castle makes their way up from Chicago for their first ever meeting with the Crows. The regular season home finale is another Twin Cities Derby matchup with St. Croix Legends on 1 July and the Crows regular season will finish up on 12 July in Chicago.

Six league home games you won't want to miss (and two Super Cup dates dropping soon)!

Following the USL2 regular season the playoffs start on 13 July with the USL League Two Final set for 1 August 2026.

Minneapolis City SC will once again participate in the Minnesota Super Cup, which they won last year defeating archrival Duluth FC in 2–0 in the final. City has participated in all three editions of the tournament but only once have hoisted the trophy. That schedule is not out at this time but the Crows will play two matches in round robin play, with at least one match taking place at Edor Nelson Field.
